Mr & Mrs Stanley: Elton Hall and Rockingham Forest Best Western
On the morning of Czeska and Richerd's wedding I've honestly never seen so much water fall from the sky in one go. I was drenched by the time I'd loaded my gear into the car and my windscreen wipers couldn't go fast enough as I set off to Elton Hall, Peterborough.
Luckily, within around 10 minutes of leaving the house, someone somewhere paid someone else a lot of money to turn the water off and bring out the sunshine!
I couldn't believe quite how lucky Czes and Richerd were!
Arriving at the venue, I found a very nervous looking groom and his best man. The venue they'd chosen was absolutely gorgeous. Elton Hall, sat between Oundle and Peterborough is a beautiful 17th century house with the best gardens I've ever seen.
Luckily, thanks to the break in the weather, we were able to take advantage of the great location and were even given a special opportunity of shooting inside the house itself which is usually off limits to photography! I for one felt very special indeed.
The whole day was absolutely fantastic. The reception at the Rockingham Forest Best Western as so much fun, with plenty of laughter. We were even treated to a dance duo from some of the groomsmen!
Thanks for asking me to capture your wedding day, Czes and Rich, enjoy your photos...
