Mr & Mrs Nicholson: The William Cecil Hotel, Stamford
Glen and Cara, where do I start?
Back in April I was sent a message by Cara about a very short notice wedding, 12 weeks to be exact. I assumed they'd maybe not considered a photographer up until this point, but it turns out they'd only starting planning a few weeks earlier!
Excitingly, I was free on their chosen date and therefore able to spend the most wonderful day with these two as they tied the knot in front of close family and friends.
Considering they whole day had been planned within 4 months or so, you honestly couldn't tell the difference between one that had taken 2 years! The William Cecil Hotel was absolutely gorgeous, blooming with wild flowers in the gardens and a lovely seating area that thankfully we could take advantage of, as it was HOT!
The ceremony was sweet, with three beautiful readings by friends and family which added such a lovely personal touch. And there was a lot of laughter. Cara and Glen couldn't stop and wherever I looked, people were smiling, making my job much easier, thanks everyone!
The whole day was so relaxed and I almost felt like one the guests, and I think I saw some of the best dancing at a wedding so far!
Apparently Cara isn't a big fan of photographs, but I think she looked absolutely amazing in front of the camera, and Glen didn't scrub up too badly either.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Nicholson, enjoy your photographs!
