Mr and Mrs Sinclair: A Windy Wedding at Grendon Lakes!
Emma and Alan got in touch almost 18 months ago about their wedding photography and I honestly can’t believe how quickly it all came around! When we met, Emma told me the wedding would be held at Grendon Lakes, a lovely little venue based on the River Nene just outside of Wellingborough. I’d never actually heard of it before but after looking at their website, I knew it was going to be a great day, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! (So great in fact we ended up booking it for our own wedding!)
I spent the morning of the wedding with Emma and her bridesmaid, Elaine, at the Park Hotel in Kettering, where I met the lovely Bronte from Tin Box Memories, (if you need a videographer, she’s the one!).
The morning was very relaxed and we had plenty of time to get some lovely photos of just the two ladies before family arrived for a sneaky preview. Dad, you nearly had us all in tears! Emma and Alan’s three lovely boys all looked incredible too and It was impossible to not to see how proud they were of their mum. The letters they had written were also beautiful! Despite horrific winds (luckily I have some experience is these conditions already!!) the day ran as smoothly as it could. The guests looked so happy all day, and the sun shone on. We even managed to enjoy a lakeside walk and capture some natural wedding photographs that hopefully Emma and Alan will treasure forever!
Congratulations to you both and thanks for inviting me to be part of such a special occasion!
Enjoy the photos x
